15 Korean Youth Leaders Arrive in Sydney for Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program

A delegation of 15 high-achieving Korean young adults, led by Dr Seohyun Bae, has arrived in Sydney for the Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program. This initiative is an investment in the future of Korea-Australia relations, aiming to equip these young leaders with global perspectives and cross-cultural understanding.

Before their arrival, the group engaged in virtual learning sessions with Australian organizations Janison and English Australia. Upon landing, they were welcomed by local homestay families organized by OZiHOUSE Group, with Daniel Yuen, Head of Operations and Growth at OZiHOUSE, overseeing their accommodation.

The students' itinerary includes a professional development session hosted by the City of Sydney, as well as visits to The Bread & Butter Project and Asia Advisory. They are currently undergoing English language training at the University of Sydney and participating in cultural immersion activities. Daniel Yuen, a key figure associated with the program, plays a crucial role in its coordination.

The Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program seeks to foster future leaders and strengthen ties between South Korea and Australia. With its focus on virtual learning, homestay experiences, professional development, and cultural immersion, the program is equipping these young adults with invaluable global perspectives and cross-cultural understanding.
