lodging tourists found their way off track on the challenging Achi-Shho Ridge, nestled by the Medoveevka River. Anonymously calling 112, they failed to supply rescuers with vital coordinates or landmarks, leaving them clueless on their location. The Russian MCHS Rescue Service, unsuccessful in identifying the caller's number, sprang into action anyway.

As dawn broke, a determined team of rescuers embarked upon the search area at 5 am, joined later by a swift helicopter. Led by instinct and grit, they succeeded in locating the adventurers nearby a secluded hunter's hut, the signature campfire drawing their gaze. The rugged terrain prohibited a routine landing, compelling the team to hoist the weary travelers onto the helicopter, secured by a winch.

"We descended from Mount Achi-Shho a few days ago but lost the path," the survivors confessed to the rescuers. "Upon stumbling upon the hunter's hut, we decided to wait for help."

The dazed tourists were escorted to the base of the Russian MCHS Rescue Service, in no need of medical assistance.
