Boosting flight frequency to Antalya by SunExpress
SunExpress, a leading airline, has announced an extensive expansion of its flight connections to Turkey from several German cities in the summer of 2025. This move aims to cater to the growing demand for holidays in Turkey, particularly in the popular holiday destination of Antalya.
The expansion includes new flight routes to Antalya from Dresden, Erfurt, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, and Stuttgart, while Dalaman will be the destination for flights from Saarbrücken and Stuttgart. The airline is significantly increasing its capacity, creating around 450,000 additional seats to Antalya from April to October.
Berlin will see a significant boost with additional flights on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, totalling up to 5 daily connections. Smaller airports such as Erfurt, Paderborn, or Saarbrücken will also benefit from the expansion, offering new, partly double daily connections to the Turkish Mediterranean region.
Connections from major airports such as Berlin, Düsseldorf, or Stuttgart will be expanded, with up to five flights per day to Antalya during the summer holidays. Dortmund will have two new flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, totaling 9 direct flights per week.
This expansion is part of SunExpress's strategy to respond to the strong demand for holidays in Turkey. The airline is introducing new frequencies in numerous cities, including Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Erfurt, and more, ensuring a smooth and convenient travel experience for its passengers.
With this expansion, SunExpress is making it easier than ever for German and Austrian travellers to explore the beauty of Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Extra flights from Saarbrücken and Stuttgart will begin as early as Pentecost, providing travellers with more options for their summer getaways.
