In an exciting turn of events, the Hungarian capital Budapest has been crowned as the top city in Europe for partying, according to a new analysis by Casino.at. Eastern European metropolises like Budapest, Prague, Krakow, and Warsaw have emerged as the go-to destinations for a good price-performance ratio and a high density of party options.

Budapest impresses with a staggering 392 bars and an average beer price of just 2.50 euros, making it the city with the cheapest beer prices of all cities surveyed. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around 7 euros, and entrance to popular clubs is very affordable at approximately 4.50 euros.

Prague, on the other hand, comes in a close second place in the European party ranking. Impressing with 488 bars, Prague boasts the cheapest beer prices of all cities surveyed, averaging at 2.43 euros. Club entrance, however, is more expensive, averaging over 13 euros.

Berlin, once celebrated as the European party capital, misses the top ten at 11th place. While Berlin has an impressive 951 well-rated bars, relatively high prices weigh down the overall score. A beer costs an average of 4.50 euros, cocktails are 12 euros, and the entrance to popular clubs is now the most expensive at 17.20 euros - a significant increase from last year's approximately 11.60 euros.

Vienna reaches 15th place due to high drink prices and club entrance fees. Beers cost 5 euros, cocktails cost 13 euros, and club entrance exceeds 12 euros. Munich has the highest cocktail prices in Germany, averaging 13 euros.

Interestingly, Eastern European cities such as Leipzig and Dresden offer a better price-performance ratio due to lower property prices compared to major Western European and German cities. These cities offer more affordable entry prices (around 2,900 to 3,200 EUR/m²) and vibrant social scenes, making them attractive alternatives to pricier cities like Berlin and Augsburg with higher prices (4,500-4,800 EUR/m²).

Warsaw follows in third place, with low entrance fees (around 4.50 euros) and attractive cocktail prices. The city also boasts a high number of well-rated clubs (60) and bars (392).
