Europa-Park Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Exciting Events
Europa-Park, the beloved theme park in Rust, Germany, is gearing up for its 50th anniversary in 2025. From July 11 to 14, the park will host a series of special events and attractions, culminating in a grand celebration on July 12.
The draw for the FACE OF EUROPE 2025 Contest, an exciting new event for men and women, is currently open and closes on Sunday, August 17, at 11:59 PM. Two lucky winners and their companions will have the opportunity to visit Europa-Park from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After the winners have been determined and notified, the participation will be deleted.
Europa-Park, spanning an area of 95 hectares, more than twice the size of the Theresienwiese, boasts 14 roller coasters, 17 European-themed areas, three fantasy zones, over 100 attractions and shows, more than 50 restaurants and bars, and six hotels. Some of the notable attractions include the blue fire Megacoaster, which takes visitors through the rugged landscapes of Iceland, and the Eurosat CanCan Coaster, which provides a thrilling ride through Parisian nightlife.
During the anniversary period, all themed areas and regular attractions and shows will be open. Highlights of the anniversary celebrations include the Zeppelin Flight, featuring a special 75-meter-long zeppelin decorated with the mascots Ed Euromaus and Edda Euromausi, flying over the park and surrounding area from July 11 to 14.
On July 12, the park remains open until midnight for the 50 Years Europapark Summer Night Party, featuring live bands, walking acts, themed bouncy castles for children in Austria, a DJ party in Croatia, and a silent disco on Botta Platz. The main celebration day also includes the world premiere of "Grand Prix of Europe," an animated film produced by MACK Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany, aimed at family audiences and later shown in cinemas in German-speaking countries.
Other anniversary events include the Anniversary Parade, featuring impressive floats, special dance performances, and magnificent costumes, and the 50th Anniversary Gala, held on July 11 at the Europa-Park Arena and attended by notable guests. On July 14, the park will also host the "Vive la France" French Festival, featuring French music, dance, and cuisine.
