Accor, the global hospitality powerhouse, is expanding its Romanian footprint by teaming up with Amazonia Aquapark SRL for the Novotel Timișoara. This venture ends in 2027, marking the brand's entry outside Bucharest and a milestone for Novotel in Eastern Europe.

Slated to open by 2027's end, the hotel boasts 152 accommodations, ranging from 15 junior suites, a presidential duplex, and 20 family-friendly quarters. Besides its plush rooms, guests can unwind at two restaurants with alfresco terraces, work out at the fitness center, or engage in family activities at the kids' corner.

Additionally, the hotel offers conference rooms totaling over 1,000 square meters, including a 630 sqm versatile hall and an adaptable lounge. Guests can also make use of on-site parking facilities.

Accor views Romania as a vital market for growth in Eastern Europe. With 22 hotels currently operating across the country, totalling 2,397 rooms, Novotel Timișoara will make the city's third Accor establishment, following Mercure Timișoara (2020) and ibis Timișoara (2021).

Accor aims to fortify its Romania presence, with 20 properties in development due for completion by 2027.

Win Advisors have signed a preliminary agreement for the hotel management of Novotel Timișoara Amazonia Aquapark. The hotel will be directly tied to the Amazonia Aquapark and make two vital firsts: the first Hypothesis Novotel in Europe, and the first full-service Novotel outside Bucharest.
