Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport Expands Flight Offerings for Autumn and Winter 2025/2026

The Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) has announced new flight schedules for the upcoming autumn and winter season of 2025/2026. Among the most exciting developments is Eurowings' extension of flight operations to the popular airport destination, Mallorca, for the first time in the winter and autumn schedule.

Eurowings will serve Mallorca until mid-November, marking a significant addition to the airport's route network. The Spanish holiday island remains the most popular flight route from FKB.

In addition to Eurowings, both Ryanair and Wizz Air are expanding their route networks from FKB. Ryanair will launch a new connection to Bucharest starting 27 October, while Wizz Air will offer flights to the Moldovan capital, Chisinau, from 28 October.

However, it's worth noting that as of the current information available, no direct new flight connections from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport to Moldova or Romania have been publicly announced for October 28, 2025, or beyond. Wizz Air operates flights between Chisinau (Moldova) and Bucharest (Romania), but these do not originate from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport.

The number of passengers at Baden-Airpark has seen a significant increase compared to previous years, with 378,238 passengers. The airport has experienced the strongest growth in connections to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania, Albania, and Greece.

Meanwhile, Mia Schrader, a fifth-semester student of political science and sociology in Würzburg, has joined AERO International as a trainee since September 2025. Mia, who has been interested in aviation since her childhood, brings a wealth of journalistic experience to her role at AERO International. In her spare time, she enjoys plane spotting at various airports.

The flight operations to Mallorca by Eurowings will start in the winter and autumn season of 2025/2026 and will resume in February next year. Both Moldovan and Romanian connections will be offered three times a week by Wizz Air.

As the autumn and winter seasons approach, travellers from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport can look forward to an expanded range of cheap flights and increased flight frequencies, making it easier than ever to jet off to exciting new destinations.
