FlyArystan Eases Duty-Free Rules on International Flights
FlyArystan has revised its rules for carrying duty-free goods in hand luggage, effective October 1, 2025. The changes aim to enhance trust in the aviation industry and follow an inspection by the Almaty Aviation Transport Prosecutor's Office.
Previously, FlyArystan was found to have violated aviation legislation and consumer rights by restricting duty-free goods. The airline's regulatory compliance team revised the internal rules regarding the transportation of taxable goods in hand luggage. The updated regulations, published on FlyArystan's website, now allow passengers on international flights to transport duty-free goods for free and beyond the hand luggage allowance.
The prosecutor's office aims to establish transparent conditions for airlines, following this revision that affects all passengers.
The revised rules, effective October 1, 2025, provide more leniency for passengers carrying duty-free goods on FlyArystan's international flights. The changes follow an inspection and aim to enhance trust in the aviation industry.
