Food Labelling Laws Harmonization Proposed by Commission Across EU Member States
The Dudweiler Carnival Society has announced the start of the 2025/26 session with a new slogan, 'Breaking the Sound Barrier into the Carnival World'. At a member meeting held on Wednesday evening, Club President Achim Schmidt revealed that the slogan was set in May.
The society, known for its vibrant carnival parades and dance formations, is currently in the midst of rehearsals for the upcoming campaign. All dance formations, including the youngest members known as the 'Carnation Mice', are excited about the growing interest.
While the society has not disclosed the identity of the newly elected board members, it has been confirmed that three additional members will join the extended board of the GKG Green Carnation. Unfortunately, the names of these new members are not publicly available at this time.
The past session was reported as successful by the board and departments of the Dudweiler Carnival Society. The society held three nearly sold-out meetings at the civic center during the past session, and the assembly took a moment to thank those who stepped down for their long-standing volunteer service.
In addition to the slogan and the rehearsals, the society has not revealed any further details about the upcoming campaign. The goal, however, is clear: to 'break the sound barrier' and take off into the carnival world by November 11.
Members also approved a minor bylaw amendment, including updates to data protection paragraphs, during the meeting. The Dudweiler Carnival Society looks forward to the upcoming campaign with anticipation and excitement.
