In the first half of 2025, Vinci-managed national airports in Portugal saw a steady increase in passenger traffic, with a total of 33.93 million passengers handled, marking a 4.8% rise compared to the same period in 2024.

The breakdown of passenger traffic by major airports is as follows: - Lisbon Airport welcomed 17.23 million passengers, a 3% year-on-year increase. - Porto Airport saw 7.897 million passengers, a 5.5% growth. - Faro Airport handled 4.62 million passengers, up by 7%. - Madeira Airport experienced the largest growth, with 2.687 million passengers, a 12% increase. - The Azores airports collectively managed 1.499 million passengers, a 4.5% rise.

Vinci Airports attributed the positive trend to increased airline capacity and strong load factors, particularly fueled by long-haul routes to Brazil (+12%) and the United States (+9%). Porto Airport has also seen strategic long-haul route development, including new connections such as Boston flights by TAP Air Portugal.

In summary, the Portuguese airports run by Vinci (ANA) experienced a steady 4.8% growth in passenger traffic in H1 2025, supported by increased flight movements and expanding long-haul connections, although this growth was slightly below Vinci’s overall global network performance.

Travelers passing through the managed airports in Portugal, such as Lisbon and Porto, witnessed an uptick in passenger traffic and flight operations during the first half of 2025, with a rise of 4.8% compared to the previous year. This growth in traffic is largely attributed to the expansion of long-haul routes, especially those leading to Portugal's lifestyle destinations like Brazil (+12%) and the USA (+9%). In particular, Porto Airport has seen strategic development, with the addition of new long-haul connections, such as direct flights to Boston by TAP Air Portugal.
