International Festival Set to Take Place at Park University on November 18th
Join Park University on November 18, 2022, for an exciting International Festival taking place in the Park Avenue area within the Academic Underground on the Parkville Campus. This event, hosted by Park University's Office of International Student Services, promises to be a vibrant celebration of diversity and culture.
The festival will feature a variety of performances, cultural activities, and fashion shows, showcasing the rich traditions of numerous countries. The list of participating countries includes Bangladesh, Brazil, China, The Gambia, Ghana, India, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, among others.
Admission to the festival is free and open to the public, making it an accessible opportunity for everyone to immerse themselves in the global atmosphere. For those interested in sampling international cuisine, an international buffet will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. During the buffet, guests can enjoy dishes from each continent, each representing the flavours and aromas of the participating countries.
The cost for the public to attend the buffet is $12, but Park University students and employees on a meal plan can eat free with their Park ID.
