Park University is set to stage its yearly International Festival in commemoration of International Education Week, with the event taking place on the 19th of November, 2021, Friday.

International Gathering Set for Nov. 19 at Park University

Join Park University for an exciting celebration of diversity during the International Festival, taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Parkville Campus's Academic Underground in the Park Avenue area. This year's event, happening on November 19, 2021, is hosted by the Office of International Student Services and promises to be a vibrant showcase of cultures from around the globe.

The festival will feature an international buffet, serving delicious dishes from each continent, for just $10 per person for the public. For those on a meal plan at Park University, admission and the buffet are both free with a valid Park ID.

Over 270 students from 51 countries call Park University home, and these international students will be sharing unique and diverse characteristics of their homeland during the festival. Representatives from Brazil, China, Germany, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan are among those scheduled to be represented.

Visitors can expect an array of information booths, performances, cultural activities, and fashion shows that represent the rich tapestry of countries participating in the festival. During the International Festival, visitors can explore cultural travel through the information booths, performances, and fashion shows from various countries, offering a glimpse into diverse home-and-garden lifestyles and traditions. After indulging in an international buffet, attendees can learn about the unique characteristics of 51 represented nations, including Brazil, China, Japan, and others, resulting in a lively celebration of global lifestyle differences.
