Luxurious Spa Hideaway Opens in Singapore's River Valley
Hideaway, a luxurious spa and bathhouse, has opened in Singapore's New Bahru, River Valley. This lifestyle destination offers a unique blend of therapies and graphic design, including contrast therapy, infrared saunas, and neuroaesthetic interiors.
The spa's founder, Grant Wee, favours treatments combining hot and cold therapy, followed by a relaxing massage. The new bathhouse space features custom-built cold plunge tubs and infrared saunas, promoting cellular repair and reducing inflammation.
Hideaway's interior is designed by local studio Parable, known for its work with high-end clients like Hermès. The spa offers semi-private pods and a private suite for solo or shared experiences, all in mood-lit treatment rooms. A tea lounge provides a space for recovery. The sound design features tracks by Grant Wee's favourite artists, including Frank Ocean and Cigarettes After Sex.
Hideaway's contrast therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system, improving sleep and reducing anxiety. The spa's unique therapies and design make it a standout destination in Singapore's wellness scene.
