While the power output of 272 PS might seem modest for a 2.8-ton vehicle, the almost explosive torque generated by electric motors more than compensates. Volvo might have Chinese roots for the EM90, but its soul is undeniably Swedish, with light colors, understated design, and a noble, cozy feel-at-home atmosphere. The front row seats recline, whilst the luxury ones are reserved for the second row. The rear row, however, provides a relatively comfy bench that's still roomier than most Volvos' second rows. And fear not about tidy packing- the EM90 has 535 liters of cargo space, expandable to 2376 liters when everything is folded or compressed.
