Nox Revolutionizes European Overnight Rail Travel with Private Rooms from 2027

Berlin-based startup Nox is set to revolutionise overnight rail travel in Europe. From 2027, the company will offer an entirely private-room night train service, with discounted fares and early booking access for travellers.

Nox aims to make rail travel affordable and comfortable. Single cabins start from EUR 79, while doubles begin at EUR 149, with prices fluctuating based on demand. Each room will feature two-metre-long beds, seating areas, and ample storage space for luggage.

The trains will offer various room categories. Single and Double Loft rooms will have ladder-access beds, while Double Vista rooms will provide scenic views through chest-height panoramic windows. All rooms can be locked from both inside and outside for passenger privacy.

Founded by industry veterans Thibault Constant and Janek Smalla, Nox has reserved train coaches and is finalising interior approvals. The company plans to connect over 100 European cities, including Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona, by 2035. To secure discounted fares and early booking access, travellers can join the 'Early Bird Club'.
