Kickin' It in Southern Ontario: our website's Mobile Education Tour Rocks!
After a grueling three-week trek, our spirited mobile education squad winded up their wild spring tour of Southern Ontario! Traversing a whopping 1,500 kilometers, nine events, and reaching an astounding 4,717 participants, we sparked wonderment about our website in plenty of young minds. Here are some of the craziest highlights!
Bramalea to Hamilton
Our rollercoaster started at Bramalea City Centre, where we chatted up shoppers about our website animals, from the exotic tropical creatures to those near Hudson Bay. Yo, it was lit, sharing the beauty of critters big and small! Then, we jetted off to Hamilton to keen students at Bennetto Elementary School, marveling at our Sea Dome. Heard the kiddos were stoked, expressing enthusiasm for their slice in protecting our blue planet.
Hamilton to Niagara
Blasting south to the vine-drenched Niagara region, we set up activations at two humdinger public libraries. At St. Catharines Public Library, we rocked with student groups from local schools, dishin' on what's what in our website education. One school shares those kiddos rarely join external programming due to lack of free programs in the area; talkin' 'bout the importance of education ya gotta make accessible!
From St. Catharines, we jolted to Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library, where we linked up with another school group and heaps of folks who swung by with their totlings for a Sea Dome experience. They was jazzed to learn the connections between Lake Ontario and Canada's shores.

Niagara to Sarnia
In the days that followed, we surgically navigated across Southern Ontario to Sarnia, plantin' our Sea Dome flag at Lambton Mall. Our day was poppin' with heaps of people, and for some, it was their first taste of our website.

Sarnia to London
Our adventurous voyage went on, stopping at London Children's Museum - the first children's museum rollin' out in Canada! Blendin' our Sea Dome with their educational exhibits, we made edu-tainment electric for kids and grown-ups alike.
London to Toronto
One baller show on our trip went down at the Toronto Zoo, where we rejoined forces with the Ocean Bridge Ambassadors. They brought ceaseless energy and drive. Every Sea Dome presentation was standin' room only that day!

Toronto to Ottawa
Our final stop in Ontario, before embarkin' on Quebec, made an impression. At St. Laurent Mall in Ottawa, we wrapped up with a powerful wave of community engagement. Hit back-to-back sessions in our Sea Dome, tailorin' each one to meet the needs of our diverse audience, guaranteein' accessibility for those with impairments, neurodiversity, or mobility challenges.
