The UAE's homegrown brands, Smiles and Etihad Guest, have joined forces to offer a groundbreaking collaboration that aims to deliver more value to customers by seamlessly exchanging Smiles points and Etihad Guest Miles. This partnership provides existing customers with more ways to benefit and invites new customers to explore the best of both worlds: everyday lifestyle rewards through Smiles and extraordinary travel experiences through Etihad Guest.
The integration, available exclusively through the Smiles app for now, allows customers to link their loyalty accounts and instantly convert points and miles between the two programs. This innovative feature is set to roll out on the Etihad website and mobile app in the near future.
The collaboration offers a two-way conversion of loyalty rewards, enabling customers to convert Smiles Points into Etihad Guest Miles, redeemable for flights, upgrades, hotel stays, vacations, and shopping via the Etihad Guest Reward Shop. On the other hand, Etihad Guest Miles can be converted into Smiles Points to access over 55 lifestyle services on the Smiles app, such as food and grocery delivery, home services, bill payments, recharges, and exclusive shopping, dining, and entertainment deals.
This partnership brings greater flexibility to how customers earn and use their points, enhancing the value and utility of both loyalty programs. It creates an integrated rewards ecosystem, combining everyday lifestyle benefits from Smiles with premium travel experiences from Etihad Guest.
