Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier Unveils Stunning Transformation for High Season

Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier has undergone a striking transformation, with a revamped Dachgangpassage, LED screens at Walking Street entrances, and a vibrant new lighting system. The city administration aims to enhance the tourist experience and stimulate the local economy during the upcoming high season.

The Dachgangpassage, now dubbed Walkover Beach, has been redesigned to connect the popular beach road to the Bali Hai Pier more attractively and securely. The city has been working on such improvements since the 2010s to make Pattaya more pedestrian-friendly and appealing to tourists.

The project includes new LED screens at the entrances of Walking Street, modernising the area and providing convenience for travellers. The roofed walkway serves as a new landmark, visible both day and night. The lighting system synchronises with the iconic Pattaya City sign, offering eight different styles to celebrate various festival seasons. The makeover is expected to draw more tourists, boosting the local economy during the high season.
