In an exciting development for Pokémon fans, The Pokémon Company has announced an update on its upcoming theme park, PokéPark Kanto. The first permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction will be located within the Yomiuriland amusement park in Tokyo, Japan.

PokéPark Kanto, first announced in 2023, is not a newly announced theme park but an update on a previously announced attraction. The park will cover approximately 2.6 hectares (26,000 square meters) within Yomiuri Land, Tokyo's large amusement park.

The location of PokéPark Kanto within Japan is specified as Tokyo, and the Yomiuriland amusement park in Tokyo is the confirmed location for the much-anticipated theme park. The park is conveniently situated, being about a 40-minute drive from central Tokyo or about an hour and 15 minutes by train and bus from Tokyo Station.

Advance ticket sales for PokéPark Kanto will begin gradually from fall 2025, with detailed sales information to be announced later.
