Refurbished cruise seats offer a fresh seating experience.
In exciting news for travellers, AIDA Cruises has announced that shore excursions can be booked on board for last-minute travellers. This flexibility adds to the cruise line's appeal, allowing more people to enjoy their journeys without worrying about advance planning.
AIDA has introduced four new tariffs: Comfort All In, Premium, Classic, and Light, each offering different inclusions to cater to various preferences. The Premium tariff, for instance, includes an extension with the largest drinks package for travel durations of five days or more. Meanwhile, the Classic tariff resembles the previous Vario tariff and can be extended with an all-inclusive option from five days. The Light tariff, on the other hand, offers the fewest inclusive services and is aimed at flexible travellers.
Before setting sail, passengers are required to fill out the ship's manifest and health questionnaire on "myAIDA" three days before departure, or at check-in for last-minute bookings. For international trips, passengers check in directly upon arrival at the cruise terminal. If booking a flight individually, check-in is requested two hours before the ship's departure.
Check-in slots for trips from northern German ports can be booked on "myAIDA" up to three days before departure, or between 15:30 and 16:00 for spontaneous bookings.
Currently, the "Italy & Mediterranean Islands" route with "AIDAstella" is available, departing from Palma de Mallorca. Other destinations include the UK, Norway, and the Mediterranean. For those seeking a more scenic voyage, a 10-day cruise with "AIDAprima" from Hamburg to Norway's Fjords with Geiranger is available for 1,649 euros per person.
While there are no specific last-minute offers, reduced prices, or available cabins listed publicly for July, August, and September 2025, passengers affected by the cancelled Middle East cruises receive vouchers worth 10% of their original cabin fare. These vouchers can be used for booking other cruises with AIDA before the end of September 2025, potentially offering some form of discounted or incentivized booking opportunities.
Last-minute AIDA cruise bookings can be made up to 24 hours before departure, and passengers should have the booking number, payment proof, and ID document ready for spontaneous bookings. A 11-day cruise with "AIDAstella" from Palma de Mallorca to Italy & Mediterranean Islands is available for 1,899 euros per person.
For more information on last-minute offers, reduced prices, and available cabins, it is advisable to check AIDA Cruises' official website or contact their booking offices directly. Happy sailing!
