Singapore Airlines Collaborates with Mandai Wildlife Group to Provide Customized Wildlife Encounters and Reinforce Global Conservation Initiatives
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has formed a three-year partnership with Mandai Wildlife Group, combining the airline's global reach with the world-class wildlife attractions at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve to enhance Singapore's position as a leading global tourist destination.
The partnership aims to co-create customer experiences with exclusive privileges, offering SIA customers a suite of unique wildlife experiences. These include behind-the-scenes tours at Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, and Rainforest Wild Asia, which can be booked via SIA’s travel experiences platform, Pelago.
SIA customers can also enjoy unique stay packages, such as at the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. Exclusive co-branded retail collections will be available for purchase online at KrisShop and at selected retail stores within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
Members of SIA’s frequent flyer program (KrisFlyer) will receive additional perks, including bonus miles when purchasing admission tickets via Pelago and special promotions for new attractions like Curiosity Cove and Exploria. KrisFlyer miles can also be redeemed for unique experiences such as Colugo Camp, a camping experience launching in the third quarter of 2025, which includes a mystery gift.
Pelago users can book wildlife experiences and stay packages in advance, ensuring seamless travel planning. From August 2025, Mandai Wildlife content will debut on SIA’s in-flight entertainment system, KrisWorld, further enriching the passenger experience.
The partnership also supports wildlife conservation by facilitating animal transfers between accredited zoos and the repatriation of wildlife to their native habitats, with SIA providing logistical support. This aligns with Singapore's vision of being a “City in Nature.”
Belina Lee, deputy chief executive officer for transformation and growth at Mandai Wildlife Group, emphasized the partnership’s focus on creating world-class experiences that champion conservation. Vinod Kannan, senior vice president of sales and marketing at SIA, stated that the partnership strengthens SIA’s ability to offer customers enhanced benefits while supporting wildlife initiatives.
In addition to the partnership with Mandai Wildlife Group, Singapore Airlines has also partnered with OpenAI to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. This partnership will include a two-part documentary, The Great Migration: First Steps and New Eden, showcasing the relocation of Jurong Bird Park’s avian residents to their new home at Bird Paradise.
This collaboration is set to elevate Singapore’s appeal as a travel destination, offering SIA customers unforgettable wildlife experiences while supporting conservation efforts.
