Stuttgart Airport is set to offer a new and exciting travel opportunity for its passengers this winter season. In a significant move, the airport will connect to two new destinations: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Amman, Jordan, as part of Eurowings' expanded routes starting November 2025.

Jeddah, known as one of the new wonders of the world, will be the winter flight destination from Stuttgart Airport. This historic city, located on the Red Sea coast, serves as a gateway to the historic city of Mecca. The connection to Amman, the capital of Jordan, will also be available, with flights operating on Mondays and Thursdays.

Petra, an ancient rock city in Jordan, is another highlight of this new route. Voted as one of the new wonders of the world in 2007, Petra is a unique cultural heritage site that offers a blend of myth, craftsmanship, and almost mystical silence, making it a tangible representation of history. The rock city, originally created by the Nabateans, is known for its monumental tombs carved directly from the rock.

Tourists visiting Jordan can expect to find Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, within a few hours from the capital city. Other seven wonders of the modern world, such as the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum in Rome, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Machu Picchu in Peru, and the Taj Mahal in India, are among the other destinations that one can explore when visiting these countries.

The winter flight schedule at Stuttgart Airport will commence on October 27th. The flight time for the new connection to Amman is approximately four hours, operated by the German airline Eurowings. Baden-Württemberg's largest airport will offer a new direct connection, providing passengers with a convenient and exciting travel experience.

It's worth noting that the Pyramids of Giza are the only ancient wonder of the world that has survived the millennia. However, with the addition of these new destinations, Stuttgart Airport and Eurowings are offering travellers the chance to explore some of the world's most remarkable modern wonders.

The winter flight destination from Stuttgart Airport will be Jeddah, known as one of the new wonders of the world. Tourists can also connect to Amman, the capital of Jordan, as part of Eurowings' expanded routes starting November 2025, for a travel experience that promises a blend of historic cities and cultural heritage sites, such as Petra.
