Twenty-five years since the establishment of the "Symphonic Salon Orchestra Ingolstadt"
The Symphonic Salon Orchestra Ingolstadt, a cherished part of the city's cultural landscape for nearly 40 years, is gearing up for an exciting year ahead. Founded as the "Salonorchester Alt-Ingolstadt" in the year 2000, the orchestra has grown and evolved, now boasting 80 members with 50 to 55 regularly participating in concerts.
Under the skilled leadership of conductor Walter Kiesbauer, the orchestra continues to enrich Ingolstadt's cultural life. Kiesbauer, who has been at the helm for several years, has been instrumental in the orchestra's success.
The orchestra's annual highlights include the much-anticipated Vienna Ball Night and up to three other concerts. The upcoming New Year's concert will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 6 pm in the Festsaal of the Stadttheater.
The orchestra is a non-profit association, currently led by a five-member board, with Ursula Eckert at its helm. Eckert, along with Brigitte Pinggera, was recently honoured for her board work and musical commitment to the orchestra.
In addition to the New Year's concert, the orchestra has another exciting event coming up on November 16, 2025, featuring their Herbstkonzert (Autumn concert). Ticket information for this event is not yet available, but in the past, tickets have been available through local Ingolstadt concert venues or their official websites.
The cultural calendar of Ingolstadt is bustling with significant concerts throughout 2025, suggesting that tickets might be sold via municipal or event partner platforms. For the most accurate ticket details, consulting the Symphonic Salon Orchestra Ingolstadt's official website or Ingolstadt's cultural event portals around closer dates to the concert would be necessary.
So, mark your calendars and get ready to experience the magic of the Symphonic Salon Orchestra Ingolstadt's performances in 2025. Ticket sales for the upcoming events have begun, so don't miss out on this opportunity to be a part of Ingolstadt's vibrant cultural scene.
