Priti, a woman who moved from Mumbai to Peora 25 years ago, built Spacehouse Himalayas in the village, providing a sanctuary for artists to work and create.
However, even the tranquillity of Spacehouse Himalayas is not immune to the whims of nature. A recent storm caused delays in returning from Peora, reminding us of the village's vulnerability.
Despite these challenges, Peora continues to captivate Abhishek Khedekar, who is documenting its story through his lens. His photographs offer a glimpse into the daily life of this enchanting village, preserving its spirit for future generations. In these images, we see not just a village in decline, but a community that continues to thrive, despite the odds.
