Youth KulTour's fourth season achieved substantial popularity and success
The small Bavarian town of Buch am Erlbach was buzzing with excitement on May 31, 2025, as the fourth JugendkulTour took place. Organised by Mimi Sandmeyer and Andy Stenzl, in collaboration with the local youth work, the Landshut district youth council, and the respective municipality, this annual event offered a variety of exciting activities and workshops for around 90 young participants.
The day was filled with creativity, as the workshops ranged from graffiti and DJ sessions to the 'Prackeln' activity organised by the Heimat- und Trachtenverein Buch am Erlbach. The MINT workshop provided a math-physics cabin for exciting experiments, while an airbrush station offered children and young people a chance to get a washable tattoo.
The fire department action offered by the voluntary fire brigade Thann/Vatersdorf was a highlight, providing a thrilling demonstration of safety and teamwork. For those seeking a refreshing cool-down, a small wading pool was available.
Fresh fries and waffle lollies were provided by the altar servers, ensuring that energy levels remained high throughout the day. At the Democracy Mobile of Kreisjugendring Landshut, young people could express their opinions and wishes regarding community participation.
The Naturbuach e.V. association supported the JugendkulTour with a Bavarian three-competition, adding a friendly competitive edge to the day. The associated Olympics offered participants a chance to win eight great prizes.
The day concluded with the mayor of Buch am Erlbach, Mrs. Winklmaier-Wenzl, handing over the prizes. The organisers expressed their satisfaction with the day's events and are already looking forward to the next JugendkulTour.
The JugendkulTour is not just a day of fun and games, but also an opportunity for young people to discover their creative talents and make new friends. This year's event in Buch am Erlbach was no exception, and the organisers hope that the tradition continues for many years to come.
